Does my vehicle require an MOT?
Yes, trade plates cover tax & insurance only - Vehicle, if necessary, must have a valid MOT.
Can you move vehicles outside of the UK?
No.
Does the vehicle have to be registered?
No. The displaying of trade plates covers this issue.
Do you book vehicles for export / import?
No.But we can deliver / collect from any UK docks.
Where are my vehicles parked overnight?
In 2007 we moved premises to a Customs and Excise sealed site, which provides us with a very high level of security in case we need to store your vehicle overnight. No vehicles are parked at driver’s homes at anytime, any driver taking a vehicle home will be dismissed immediately. Entry to the site is strictly controlled and every square metre of the site is protected by a new and sophisticated CCTV coverage system soon to be updated to include number plate recognition.
What type of vehicles do you move?
All vehicle types.
Does the vehicle have to be fuelled sufficiently?
No, we can fuel the vehicle for you but extra fuel charges will apply.
Can you move vehicles at short notice?
The more notice, the better but we can look at availability for you. Please ring 0161 343 3449 with any urgent moves.
Are the vehicles covered under your insurance?
Yes, we have fully comprehensive unlimited cover insurance with Aviva which we have held for over 20 years (not severely restricted).
Is my vehicle driven or moved on a low loader / transporter?
All vehicles are driven
Are all drivers HGV licence holders?
All of our drivers hold a class 2 licence minimum
Are there charges for timed deliveries?
Potentially, yes, if we need to make special arrangements. This may incur added charges.
